About Us
Welcome to TorahTent.com!
We do not follow the religious constructs of man. We do not belong to or follow any denomination. We follow Yeshua HaMashiach alone and adhere to the scriptures as giving in the pre-Messianic Scriptures and Messianic Scriptures.
Torah (The law) was not abolished as many suppose.
Torah Was Not Abolished
Matthew 5:17-20 The Scriptures 2009
Do not think that I came to destroy the Torah or the Prophets. I did not come to destroy but to complete. For truly, I say to you, till the heaven and the earth pass away, one yod or one tittle shall by no means pass from the Torah till all be done.Whoever, then, breaks one of the least of these commands, and teaches men so, shall be called least in the reign of the heavens; but whoever does and teaches them, he shall be called great in the reign of the heavens. For I say to you, that unless your righteousness exceeds that of the scribes and Pharisees, you shall by no means enter into the reign of the heavens.
There is only one body.
No Denominations among you. (Denominations are divisions)
1 Corinthians 1:10-13 The Scriptures 2009
And I appeal to you, brothers, by the Name of our Master יהושע Messiah, that you all agree, and that there be no divisions among you, but that you be knit together in the same mind and in the same opinion. For I have been informed concerning you, my brothers, by those of the house of Chloe, that there are strifes among you. What I mean is this, that each one of you says, “I am of Sha’ul,” or “I am of Apollos,” or “I am of Kěpha,” or “I am of Messiah.” Has the Messiah been divided? Was Sha’ul impaled for you? Or were you immersed in the name of Sha’ul?
Do Not Be Called Rabbi
Yeshua took this title for himself. Although Rabbi means teacher, it also means Master. He alone holds this title and role. He told us to be servants, not leaders. Yeshua himself came as a servant to set an example for us.
Matthew 23:8-12
But you, do not be called ‘Rabbi,’ for One is your Teacher, the Messiah, and you are all brothers. And do not call anyone on earth your father, for One is your Father, He who is in the heavens. Neither be called leaders, for One is your Leader, the Messiah. But the greatest among you shall be your servant. And whoever exalts himself shall be humbled, and whoever humbles himself shall be exalted.
No man is above his brother.
Mat 20:25-28 The Scriptures 2009
But יהושע called them near and said, “You know that the rulers of the nations are masters over them, and those who are great exercise authority over them. But it shall not be so among you, but whoever wishes to become great among you, let him be your servant. And whoever wishes to be first among you, let him be your servant, even as the Son of Aḏam did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life as a ransom for many.
